This month, our dear friend Lauren of Lauren Kirkbride Photography came by to photograph our family. Lauren captured our pregnancy here, and Ollie’s newborn photos here — and we’re just so grateful to have had her create such beautiful photos we truly cherish. I really love having our photos taken at home, because not only do we all feel more relaxed, but the photos also feel so personal and special. 2023 has certainly been so memorable and special — journeying through our second and third trimesters of pregnancy, celebrating my first Mother’s Day, having our babymoon in Miami, welcoming Ollie, spending 3 weeks in Florida together as a family, and experiencing our first holiday season together, too. My delivery and recovery experience was absolutely my most challenging experience of 2023 — and perhaps my most challenging experience ever — but seeing Ben as Ollie’s dad, and us making Ollie smile and laugh together have truly been my favorite moments.
