Fall is officially here! We’ve gotten so lucky with warmer, sunnier weather than a usual fall — so we’ve been enjoying exploring and trying new places as fall begins!
We Picked Up Pumpkins from Gertens
Gertens is a local garden store that Ben and I absolutely love. Gertens decorates beautifully for every holiday, there are two big buildings and two big outdoor sections to explore, and it’s just a gardening and home decor dream! So, it was no surprise that they had an awesome selection of pumpkins of all types! We stocked up on pumpkins and mums — with two carts worth!
We Had Lunch at The Herbivorous Butcher
The Herbivorous Butcher is one of my favorite vegan places in the Twin Cities. It’s not a dine-in restaurant, but instead, it’s like a deli where you can pick up sandwiches. The turkey dill havarti sandwich is my personal favorite, and it’s always such a treat when we get to stop by.
We Tried a New Coffee Shop, Alma Provisions
Alma Provisions is a new coffee shop and brunch spot in Southwest Minneapolis. The menu is really delicious and creative, and my latte was amazing, too! There is a small selection of housewares and gourmet groceries, too!
We Decorated Our Home for Fall
We also decorated our home for fall — adding leaf garland to our fireplace mantel and window sills, and a dried magnolia leaf wreath to our front door.
