For me, giving birth via C-section was truly an unexpected experience. Five months later, I am doing all I can to recover physically from such a physically demanding delivery. Today, I’m excited to share more about my recovery experience, alongside my favorite exercise attire from adidas.
Many women receive approval to begin exercising 6 weeks following a C-section. I received approval about 8 weeks following — but still didn’t feel comfortable enough to begin exercising. Instead, I began my physical therapy journey, which has helped me to gain core strength and slowly begin exercising in more challenging ways bit by bit.
Now, 5 months later, I’ve begun riding my Peloton, and I feel more capable of moving freely — which is so exciting! Here is my current favorite exercise attire from adidas — comfortable, versatile, and high-quality attire I truly value.
adidas Power Aeroready Crop Cover-Up Sweatshirt
This crop cover-up sweatshirt from adidas is lightweight, breezy, and comfortable to wear. I especially love the loose fit and disconnected sleeves, because right now, comfort is key. (Explore even more adidas women’s hoodies here!)
adidas Yoga Essentials Studio Light Support Nursing Bra
This Yoga Essentials Studio Light Support Nursing Bra by adidas is comfortable, lightweight, and versatile. Having a sports bra and nursing bra in one is something I really value, especially during my breastfeeding journey.
adidas Yoga 7/8 Leggings (Maternity)
These 7/8 Leggings are soft, comfortable, and make movement easier during postpartum. I love how perfectly they can transition from athletic apparel to loungewear.
