Motherhood and business often feel like a balancing act — a beautiful mix of caring for your family while also holding space for your dreams. That’s why I’m so excited to begin Season 2 of the Made by Motherhood Podcast with a fresh start and a new focus.
In Season 1, we explored what it looks like to pursue business and creativity alongside motherhood. Together, we shared encouragement, stories, and strategies for simplifying the work you do so you can be more present at home. Now, in Season 2, you can expect an even deeper blend of storytelling and tactical tips to help you in every corner of your life as a mom.
Each week, we’ll rotate between four kinds of episodes:
- Content creation for moms — how to share your story online, build a platform, or explore content creation as a creative outlet.
- Support for mom-business-owners — practical strategies for simplifying, growing, and running a business that fits your life.
- Household and home organization tips — because a calmer home creates a calmer mind.
- Inspiration and encouragement — reminders that your story matters and that this season of life is deeply valuable.
My hope is that each episode feels like a coffee date with a friend who understands both the joys and the challenges of being a mom in business.
Three Helpful Takeaways to Begin Season 2
To start this new season, I want to share three small but powerful shifts that have changed the way I move through motherhood, business, and everyday life at home.
1. The Rule of 3
Each day, choose three priorities: one for your home, one for your work, and one just for you. By focusing on three things instead of an endless list, you’ll end the day feeling grounded and accomplished — without the pressure of doing it all.
2. Build Gentle Rhythms, Not Rigid Routines
Instead of relying on a strict schedule, find small daily touchpoints that bring peace. Maybe that looks like starting the morning with coffee and quiet time, or ending the evening with a quick tidy of the kitchen. These gentle rhythms help create stability, even when days are unpredictable.
3. Create Before You Consume
Start your day by creating something before you check emails, scroll social media, or respond to outside noise. It could be journaling, writing, or brainstorming. This shift helps you feel proactive instead of reactive and sets a positive tone for the rest of your day.
A Gentle Reminder
These takeaways are simple, but they’ve helped me move from feeling like I was just getting through the day, to feeling more present and intentional. Thriving doesn’t always mean doing more — often, it’s about doing less, but doing it with more presence and joy.
As we step into Season 2 of the Made by Motherhood Podcast, I’m so excited to continue sharing encouragement, practical strategies, and heartfelt stories with you. Whether you’ve been here since the very beginning or you’re just tuning in, thank you for being here.
