A couple of weeks ago, I traveled to Savannah, Georgia on behalf of With Grace and Gold! Along with Tarah of Tarah Elise Photography, Kat of Dear Sweetheart Events, and Hope of Hope Taylor Photography, we visited this very historic, very beautiful city!
On October 1, 2016, we’ll be celebrating two full years in business at With Grace and Gold — which is so hard to believe! We traveled to Savannah to prepare for a new season in our business: to create a promotional video and to update our photos with Tarah! We accomplished so much while in Savannah, and I am so excited for the final product to be revealed on Friday!
While in Savannah, we stayed at an Airbnb. It was a beautiful, historic apartment south of Forsyth Park and in the SCAD community. Our apartment was also next to Foxy Loxy Cafe, which had the best tea! (I have since learned that getting unsweetened tea is a sin in the south. Whoops!)
Those who know me well know I am convinced that everything historic is, well, haunted. So, I like to think I went on a personal ghost tour of Savannah. (After all, it is one of the most haunted cities in America!)
Haunted places we visited include:
- The Olde Pink House – A historic [actually haunted] restaurant!
- River Street – A shopping and dining street.
- Alligator Soul – A really delicious [vegan friendly] restaurant!
- Forsyth Park – A really beautiful park!
- Broughton Street – A shopping and dining street.
I didn’t take too many pictures, because we were busy as can be… but here are just a few!
I’m so glad we had an opportunity to travel to Savannah! It was so beautiful, so colorful, and a really great place to visit and experience.4
