I can’t believe today is June 1st! Memorial Day Weekend has come and gone, and summer is finally here! Today, I’m excited to share a bit about how I spent Memorial Day Weekend!

Ben and I drove to southeastern Wisconsin for a long weekend. We began our weekend on Saturday at the Kenosha Farmers’ Market — the Kenosha Harbor Market. It was one of the best farmers’ markets I’ve ever been to. In addition to perusing all of the produce, I also tried a mango on a stick, with chili powder and lime juice. It was unexpected and delicious!

On Sunday, we supported our sisters as they ran their very first half marathon in Madison. I am so proud of them! It was a really beautiful day, and it was really cool to see!

On Monday, Ben sweetly took me to my favorite place for lunch! I ordered a citrus ginger iced tea and a delicious vegetable salad: lettuce, zucchini, squash, mushroom, and candied walnuts, with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. (Yum!)
