I’ve been back home in Wisconsin for about one week — still getting reorganized and getting back to my normal routine. I love traveling, but I also love routine — having my favorite smoothie for breakfast, working from our sunny living room, watering my little herb garden, and going to yoga when the workday is done. (I sound about 50 years older than I am!) Nonetheless, I’m super excited to share about my stay at the Harp House in Waco, Texas!
First things first, Harp House — along with a few other Fixer Upper houses — is available on Airbnb! It’s the perfect place to stay, if you’re visiting Waco with a large group for several days. (There is plenty to do in Waco, including visiting Magnolia!) Harp House is located right next to Harp Design Co — which is a really cute and quaint home decor shop! I wanted to buy everything in sight!
There is something so special about products that are handmade, and from the heart. After visiting Waco, I had a whole new appreciation for people who make products with their hands! Graphic design is wonderful — but there is something so inspiring about tangible, handmade products!
The Harp House is filled with lots of really special details and decor — which is to be expected of a Fixer Upper house! I especially loved the blend of old and new and all of the natural colors and textures found throughout the house. The house is really spacious and there is plenty of room for relaxing and working!
