In October, Ben and I traveled to Fort, Worth Texas. In 2017, I had traveled to both Dallas and Waco — so I was really excited to experience Fort Worth. We stayed at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel, which was a really beautiful hotel in downtown Fort Worth. Even though our hotel was downtown, there was a small town feel through and through, which made walking around from neighborhood to neighborhood feel really easy.
When we arrived in Fort Worth, everyone we spoke to recommended walking down Magnolia Avenue. It’s the cutest street ever, filled with lots of great shops and restaurants. We ate at the all-vegan Spiral Diner & Bakery, had coffee at Craftwork, and visited Tribe Alive — a shop I’ve followed along with on Instagram for years! (Tribe Alive sells sustainable, ethical products and provides employment to help empower women and help women rise from poverty.)
Finally, coincidentally, this art exhibit was going on in Fort Worth while we were visiting and it was the most unique thing I’ve ever seen in a park!
Overall, our visit to Fort Worth was like a breath of fresh air. Everyone we met was so friendly, and I just felt like “home” in Fort Worth.
