Where should I begin my wellness journey?

Start small. Explore the resources I've curated, try a recipe, or encourage yourself to try something new. These resources are designed to help you add just one healthy habit to your life every week — so start small, and be encouraged by and proud of each small, healthy decision you make from here on.

What kind of diet do you follow?

I eat a whole foods, plant-based, vegan diet. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of eating nutrient-dense whole foods: fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains.

Being able to pick fresh herbs from my garden and to use them in homemade plant-based recipes is one of my personal favorite things to do.

I believe in, and have experienced first-hand, the benefits of following a whole foods, plant-based vegan diet, so I truly believe in adding fruits, vegetables, nuts, and whole grains to your daily diet, in any way you can or would like to! 

How do you stay motivated?

When I turned 30, I asked myself, "What would the happiest, healthiest version of my life look like? What would it feel like?"

I realized, if I didn't change anything about my life, nothing would change — and I wouldn't experience the results I wanted to experience. If I wanted to become a better runner, I needed to start running. If I wanted to feel stronger, I needed to start to care for my mind and body.

What motivates me is knowing each day a fresh start — a new opportunity to make health and happiness a priority.

What is your personal philosophy?

I believe a series of small, daily decisions add up to create a healthy, happy lifestyle. I believe food, fitness, family, friends, faith, rest, and stress management all play key roles in each of us experiencing meaningful health and wellness.

Most of all, I believe being healthy isn't a destination — but rather a daily, step-by-step journey. I believe living healthfully shouldn't feel overwhelming, so my hope is to curate resources to better ensure living well feels exciting, energizing, and fulfilling.

What are your go-to resources?

All of my favorite resources have been curated here. Explore cook books, kitchenware, activewear, and clean beauty products I love.

What do you do for exercise?

What credentials do you have?

I have a Bachelor of Science in Business from Carroll University, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Azusa Pacific University, and I became a Certified Holistic Nutritionist through AFPA: American Fitness Professionals and Associates.

Here, I've blended my passions for business, education, and health to create and curate resources to help you pursue your health, wellness, and happiness wholeheartedly.
