When Ben and I returned from holiday break in early January, we were so excited to make some serious progress on our condo. While we’ve lived here for nearly 2 years, we are just now digging in and making our condo our own.
We began the process by ordering a living room and a dining room set. Our condo is “open-concept” so we really wanted to tackle both spaces at once.
Our new living room set includes a cream colored sofa and “chair-and-a-half” with an ottoman. Our dining set includes a long, rectangle table with a matching bench. We purchased tufted two accent chairs — which I have always wanted — and we’re looking forward to purchasing two more chairs to complete the set! Finally, we purchased a console table to place behind our sofa — which really pulls our living room and dining area together!
When we began purchasing furniture and decorating, I didn’t really have a vision in mind; instead, I just chose pieces I gravitated toward, and luckily, they ended up blending together really beautifully! Overall, we have a neutral color palette, with accents of blue! I especially like how it’s a blend of both Ben and myself.
In honor of the ‘farmhouse style’ I have come to love, I’ve pulled together a few more pieces and accessories I really love! I chose a few kitchen accessories, since our kitchen is next on our agenda:
